Accounts Payable Specialist

We are delighted to be working with our client who are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team on a full time permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join a well established company located just outside Cork City.

For You:

• Salary: €32,000 – €35,000
• Hours: 8am – 5.15pm Mon – Thursday, 8am – 5pm Friday
• On-site Parking

Key responsibilities:

• Process all supplier invoices to correct nominal code.
• Process monthly supplier payment runs (EUR,GBP,USD,JPY).
• Prepare monthly creditors reconciliations.
• Run End of Month process and produce monthly KPI reports.
• Work closely with suppliers & internal departments (Purchasing, Warehouse) to resolve queries in a timely manner.
• Post and correctly allocate all bank payments.
• Manage L/C facility.
• Produce monthly Intrastat report.
• Assist Finance Manager with analysis/reconciliations as required.

Required Skills:

• Relevant experience in a similar role.
• Prior use of accounts payable software.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Proven experience of working to deadlines.
