We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Company Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a finance professional looking for a part time position with opportunities for growth and career progression, while playing a key role in the financial management and strategy of the business.
Location: Cork City (On-Site)
Hours: 24 hours per week (Part-Time)
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: 60 K pro rata
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
Process payroll efficiently and in compliance with relevant regulations.
Conduct financial forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
Perform account reconciliations, including bank, supplier, and customer accounts.
Oversee cash flow management, investment planning, and financial strategy to drive business growth.
Liaise with clients, providing financial insights and support as needed.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years PQE experience in an accounting role.
Strong knowledge of payroll processing and financial forecasting.
Experience with cash flow management, investment planning, and financial strategy.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills for client interactions.
