Real Estate Solicitor

A leading transatlantic law firm is currently seeking an experienced Real Estate Solicitor to join their busy, fast-paced team working in fantastic surroundings in Dublin 4. With a superb client roster, this leading team represents organisations and individuals in commercial and residential conveyancing, refinancing and related transactions, as well as advising on leases and landlord and tenant disputes.
The successful candidate will join a firm with growth at the heart of its long-term strategy. Working with clients from across Europe including multinationals, (U)HNW individuals, SMEs and other organisations, the Irish branch of this international law firm advises across a range of trailblazing industries and complex transactions.

Role and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate can expect to work in the following areas, among others:

  • Negotiating and drafting complex legal documentation including contracts and leases
  • Carrying out investigations on title, reviewing documentation including mortgage, planning and title documents
  • Managing property transactions from inception to completion
  • Ensuring compliance through effective and proper use of case management systems and financial records management
  • Advising on tax implications for individuals and entities involved in property transactions

Candidate Characteristics:
The ideal candidate will have all or most of the following characteristics:

  • Qualified to practice as a Solicitor in Ireland.
  • 3 years’ demonstrable experience working regularly with all aspects of commercial and residential conveyancing
  • Knowledge of local planning regulations, and application of Irish property tax and stamp duty
  • Excellent academic performance with a clear focus on continuing professional development
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and a track record of building strong client relationships
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational and prioritisation skills, and the ability to work well under pressure
