Sustainability Manager – County Meath

The sustainability manager will look after all areas of the operation with a view to constantly improving environmental performance and following green building regulation and compliance. This is a new role within the company that is experiencing significant ongoing growth.
They are looking to grow the team with an experienced manager along with a recent graduate within the sustainability area.

Salary: up to €50,000 DOE.

The Role:

  • Develop sustainability strategies working alongside the company goals and industry best practice. This will include all aspects including design, production and supply chain.
  • Produce reports on the company’s carbon footprint including waste management in line with relevant ISO standards. This will included data management on the companies sustainability performance.
  • Work closely with all internal and external stakeholders such as engineers, PM’s, clients and suppliers. Strong client management experience.
  • Identify and develop sustainability programmes for the company.
  • Keep updated on new technologies leading the way in sustainability initiatives.
  • Attend events tailored to sustainability and work with communities to align with the company’s sustainability.
  • Sustainability management within the modular construction sector is beneficial.  
  • Organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with an excellent attention to detail.

Education:
 • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, or a related field. Experience in environmental product declarations and product life cycle assessment is beneficial.
• Certification in sustainability.
• Masters in related field would be a distinct advantage.
• Excellent analytical and administrative skills.
• Attention to detail
