Wedding Coordinator 

Are you passionate about creating unforgettable experiences for couples on their special day? We are hiring for a Wedding Coordinator on behalf of one of our well- known clients, for their prestigious 4-star hotel in Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Wedding Coordinator to join their team.

  • Location: Ballinasloe, Co. Galway
  • Salary: €30,000–€35,000 (Depending on Experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all wedding-related queries, providing expert guidance and support to wedding couples.
  • Collaborate closely with the management, sales, and marketing teams to plan and execute exceptional weddings and events.
  • Coordinate with relevant hotel teams to ensure all client expectations are not just met but exceeded, encouraging feedback to continually enhance service standards.
  • Build strong, professional relationships with clients, acting as an integral part of their wedding journey.
  • Work closely with wedding couples and other clients to deliver seamless service, ensuring every detail is perfect and expectations are consistently surpassed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A relevant qualification in Event Management (desirable but not essential).
  • Proven experience in the weddings or events industry, with a strong understanding of the level of detail required to manage these occasions.
  • Exceptional customer service and sales skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • ​​​A successful track record in the hotel or hospitality industry.
  • Strong administration skills and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage a busy workload.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong financial acumen to support budgeting and cost management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant software; experience with Hotsoft, MAPOSA, and Alkimii is an advantage.
