We are currently working with our client a professional construction, development and project management company who are seeking a Site Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis in Cork.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute site activities independently throughout the project lifecycle.
Demonstrate commercial awareness, with strong skills in cost control and budget monitoring.
Possess technical expertise, including site setting out and tracking project milestones and deliverables.
Supervise and manage site labourers and subcontractors, provide Health & Safety inductions, prepare project progress reports, and maintain site documentation according to company standards.
Oversee the successful completion of projects, ensuring they meet scope, target costs, quality, timelines, health & safety requirements, and successful handover, covering all engineering, construction, and commercial aspects.
Monitor and control on-site progress, ensuring compliance with relevant building regulations, specifications, and legal requirements.
Ensure efficient management of the company's resources, including employees, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Capable of performing site setting out for relevant trades.
Requirements:
Strong communication skills with prior experience in residential and commercial projects.
A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management (or equivalent), or relevant experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential, commercial, or mixed development construction, ideally within a main contractor setting.
Proficient in Microsoft Project/Office and familiar with current building regulations.
