Temporary Technical Report Writer 

Here at Osborne, we are currently recruiting for a Temporary Technical Report Writer on behalf of our client based in Dublin 4. This is an exciting opportunity to join a public sector organisation and contribute to the establishment and maintenance of high standards and good practice, while also protecting the interests of individuals in need of support and care.

We are seeking a Technical Report Writer who will be responsible for drafting comprehensive compliance inspection reports based on information collected during inspections. The Technical Report Writer will play a vital role in ensuring the reports are of high quality and consistently formatted for third-party review.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting inspection reports based on information provided by inspection teams, using standard templates and meeting established deadlines.
  • Maintaining a consistent style throughout all reports.
  • Collaborating closely with inspectors to create final reports.
  • Proofreading and editing draft inspection reports for accuracy.
  • Working with internal teams to gain a deep understanding of documentation requirements.
  • Producing high-quality documentation that adheres to relevant standards and suits the intended audience.
  • Making necessary revisions to written materials based on departmental feedback.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical writing role.
  • Demonstrable expertise in report writing and analysis.
  • Proficiency in synthesizing information from various sources into concise written reports.
  • Fluency in both written and verbal English.
  • Experience with multiple authoring tools, including SharePoint, and familiarity with bespoke IT systems.
  • A third-level degree in a related field.
