Arts Executive

Here at Osborne, we are hiring an Arts Executive for one of Ireland’s leading philanthropic organisations, based in Dublin 4. The ideal candidate will be reporting to the Arts Programme Manager and will be helping with all aspects of the Arts department. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with a passion for arts, strong communication skills and event management and marketing skills.
 
Package:

  • Salary UP TO €40,000 DOE
  • Monday to Friday
  • Free parking onsite along with other benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the planning, management, administration, delivery and communication of the Arts Programme
  • Support the development of written, photographic and video content for communications and social media
  • Ensure the Arts Section of the company website is up to date and relevant
  • Manage our database (ThankQ) on behalf of the Arts team; adding stakeholder information, ensuring it is up to date and accurate, pulling reports for invitations to events and analysing data
  • Support the administration of both internal committee and external judging panel meetings which includes preparation of meeting packs, minute-taking, organisation of room booking, invites, catering and technology if required
  • Represent the company at meetings, conferences, events, networking opportunities and seminars as required
  • Other duties as required by your Line Manager

Requirements:

  • 2 years’ experience working within an arts/cultural environment is ESSENTIAL
  • Third level qualification in arts/cultural management would be an advantage
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills – written, and verbal
  • Experience in developing digital content for social media communications
  • Excellent customer/stakeholder care
  • Strong teamwork skills, and ability and willingness to work with different colleagues on projects as required
  • Strong Problem Solving & Analytical Skills
  • Strong numeracy skills and basic knowledge of financial and budgetary procedures
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office, website & database management)
