Osborne are currently recruiting for a Payroll Specialist to work for one of our key clients.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to support the management of payroll operations for a workforce of over 4,500 employees across multiple locations. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Cork city, with an option for hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the payroll department, managing weekly and monthly payroll processes.
Coordinate the administration of employee deductions across Ireland and the UK, including statutory deductions, pensions, SAYE, and LTIP schemes.
Manage and coordinate audit requests and compliance requirements.
Support tax year-end activities for all payrolls.
Ensure that new team members receive thorough training on payroll systems and processes.
Assist with payroll integration during business acquisitions and new property openings across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
Establish effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders, working collaboratively on payroll-related tasks and projects.
Key Requirements:
5+ years of professional payroll experience in Ireland and the UK; EMEA experience is an advantage.
Supervisory experience is essential.
Proficiency with payroll systems; experience with Megapay is a distinct advantage.
Strong knowledge of Ireland and UK payroll legislation, ensuring compliance across jurisdictions.
Experience in auditing and reconciling payrolls.
Previous experience with company mergers and acquisitions is an advantage.
Payroll Technician qualification (IPASS/CIPP) or equivalent experience is desirable but not essential.
