The Device Test Technician will pick up after the device has been assembled by the manufacturing team. They will have a strong attention to detail, ability to work well within a team and constantly focused on quality output.

The Role:
Will set up and test systems and assembled devices. Working with the supervisor and work towards set test specifications.
Inspect modules and systems using schematics, diagrams and systems.
Sample preparation to use to test devices.
Identify malfunction and non-conformance and identify the cause.
Ensure customers are receiving the correct systems through checking them.
Verify new procedures, equipment and products
Assist with the testing of preliminary system tests and inspections.
Oversee all paperwork including system test data and ensure up to date QC records are completed.
Checking and verifying repairs.
Work to the companies’ quality control specifications including health and safety protocols involving potential hazardous substances.
Assist with training in new hires.
Qualifications and Experience
Third level qualification i.e. Engineering Degree/Diploma/QQI Level 6 Certificate in Engineering.
2 years’ experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
Excellent PC Skills e.g. Word, Excel, Microsoft Windows, SAP etc.
