Warehouse Operative

We are seeking a responsible and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a key holder, responsible for the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, including picking and packing orders, tracking stock movements, unloading containers, and general housekeeping tasks. Physical fitness is crucial for this role, as it requires lifting and moving heavy items.
A forklift license is highly desirable, although not essential. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations and maintaining traceability of stock movements.

  • Salary: €32,000 per year
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking and Packing Orders: Accurately pick and pack orders for dispatch.
  • Stock Movement Tracking: Monitor and track inventory movements using warehouse management systems on the computer.
  • Unloading Containers: Assist in unloading shipments and ensuring items are stored correctly.
  • General Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the warehouse, including fire alarm testing.
  • Traceability: Ensure that all stock movements are accurately recorded for traceability purposes.
  • Key Holder Duties: Take responsibility for opening and closing the warehouse, ensuring its security.

Requirements:

  • Must be a responsible and reliable individual.
  • Physical fitness is essential due to the physical demands of the role.
  • Experience with warehouse operations is preferred.
  • A forklift license is highly desirable, but training can be provided if necessary.
