Higher Executive Officer – Dublin 4 – Temporary

The Higher Executive Officer (HEO) position is a middle management role with our client based in Dublin 4. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the recruitment function within the department of panel supports.
This position would suit a candidate with experience in high volume recruitment and organising training events. Initially, this role would require a candidate to work for 4 days per week, and will then likely drop to 3 days per week. 

Duration: This position is a temporary assignment until May 2024.
Salary: €31.28 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Management: Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned positions, including job advertisements, shortlisting, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with public sector recruitment policies, regulations, and best practices.
  • Screening: Review and assess applications, shortlisting candidates based on eligibility, qualifications, and experience.
  • Interview and Assessment Coordination: Organize and facilitate competency-based interviews and assessments, coordinating panels where necessary.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with hiring managers to understand role requirements, provide recruitment updates, and ensure timely decision-making.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Promote equal opportunity, ensuring diversity is considered throughout the recruitment process, and supporting the organization’s commitment to an inclusive workforce.
  • Security Checks: Involves processing garda vetting.
  • Feedback and Candidate Communication: Manage communications with candidates, providing feedback where necessary, and maintaining a positive candidate experience.
  • Arranging induction training for new starters.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and support junior recruitment staff as needed, ensuring recruitment goals are met.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role. 
  • Experience in high volume recruitment.
