Our client based in South Dublin is seeking and Inventory Technician to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. You will be joining a leading provider of integrated services. As an Inventory Technician, you will play a crucial role in optimising the inventory processes, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the supply chain. This position is hands on and will involve warehouse and office-based work. As an Inventory Technician you will be responsible for but not limited to:
Proactive Process Improvement: Collaborate with the stores network to identify and implement inventory process improvements that drive operational efficiency and productivity.
Inspection and Receipt of Goods: Inspect incoming goods for accuracy and quality, ensuring all received items meet the necessary standards. Process the receipt of goods in line with company procedures.
Non-Conforming Product Handling: Identify, report, and manage non-conforming products, ensuring timely resolution to prevent inventory issues.
Inter-Store Transfers: Conduct and coordinate inter-store stock transfers to optimise stock turnover and ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time.
Record Management: Maintain accurate records of all materials and inventory-related information, including procurement data and stock movement documentation.
Routine Stock Analysis: Carry out routine analysis of stock movements, identify trends, and recommend solutions to improve stock accuracy, efficiency, and stock turn.

Requirements:
Proven experience in store management or procurement.
Proficient in information systems such as: SAP and inventory management systems and software.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Strong relationship management and communication skills.
Experience in delivering agreed objectives.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
