On call Relief Drivers 

Our client is seeking reliable and flexible Ad Hoc Drivers to join their team. This role involves providing on-call driving support to professionals, ensuring they reach their destinations safely and promptly during out-of-hours services. The position is on an as-needed basis, ideal for individuals seeking flexible work hours. This company does operate 24/7- 365 days a year so flexibility is needed so shifts to get covered when needed.
Full Garda Vetting will be required for this position and will need to be completed before a start date can be given

Salary and Hours:

• Varied shifts = Varied Rates
• Weekly pay
• Flexible Working Hours

Main Responsibilities:

• Safely transport doctors or healthcare staff between healthcare facilities and patient locations as required.
• Be available for on-call shifts, primarily during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ensure that the assigned vehicle is well-maintained and fully operational.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude while dealing with healthcare staff and patients.
• Adhere to all HSE guidelines and road safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Valid full driving license with a clean driving record.
• Flexibility to work on an ad-hoc, on-call basis, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong knowledge of the local area and ability to use navigation tools.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and empathy.
• Previous experience as a professional driver is desirable but not essential.
