Key Account Manager

We are working with a leading outsourcing and distribution organisation in North Dublin who are looking to hire a Key Account Manager to join their expanding fast paced team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing relationships with key accounts. Your primary duties will include building and maintaining strong relationships, driving sales, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting the Customer Service Manager with key contracts administration.

Benefits:

  • €40,000 – €45,000 DOE
  • Monday to Friday 9-5.30
  • 4 days on site 1 day remote

Duties of the role include:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for a designated customer base.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, addressing concerns, and resolving issues effectively.
  • Manage customer needs to align with the company's overall business plans and strategies.
  • Negotiate and finalise business contracts with existing and prospective clients.
  • Conduct follow-ups with customers to gauge satisfaction with the company’s products or services.
  • Contribute valuable insights to sales strategies by evaluating current products, monitoring competitors, and assessing customer needs.
  • Convert customers to digital trading in line with Company targets.
  • Assist the Customer Service Manager in Key Contracts administration, including report compilation and query resolution.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in an administration/account management position within a busy fast paced environment with in FMCG ideally
  • Excellent attention to detail & strong communication skills
  • Proficient in CRM Systems Salesforce would be an advantage.
  • Highly organised, results driven and working to tight deadlines.
  • A self-starter who can work collaboratively as a member of a highly interdependent team.
  • A 'can do' attitude and a positive, solution-focused mindset.
