Administrator/Business Support Assistant- Chapelizod, Co. Dublin

Here at Osborne, we are hiring for an Administrator/Business support assistant for one of our clients based in Chapelizod, Co. Dublin. They are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator/Business Support Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing essential support across various business functions.
As an Admin/Business Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of administrative and business support to ensure the smooth operation of daily tasks. This position will involve everything from managing office operations, coordinating meetings, and handling communications, to supporting various departments, such as accounting. You will be a key player in helping the business run efficiently and effectively.

Salary: €35K
The role: Full-time, Permanent role
Hours of work: 8am- 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support including answering phones, managing emails, and handling correspondence.
  • Organise and maintain office systems, including filing, scheduling meetings, and managing calendars.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documents as required.
  • Support departments with day-to-day tasks, such as data entry, document preparation, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate and liaise with field engineers to efficiently manage and optimise their schedules.
  • Coordinate office supplies, maintain inventory, and ensure smooth office operations.
  • Handle ad-hoc requests from management and various teams as needed.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a proven administration/business support role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks.
  • A proactive and flexible attitude towards work.
  • Familiarity with office management tools and systems is a plus.
