Job Opportunity: Bar & Restaurant Supervisor

Are you passionate about hospitality and have solid experience in bar and restaurant management? This could be the perfect opportunity for you!
As the Bar & Restaurant Supervisor, you will be reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will take charge of the bar and restaurant staff, ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining high operational standards. This is an exciting and challenging role for someone looking to progress within the hospitality industry.

Location: Dublin 4
Salary: €30K-€31K (DOE)  
Hours: 35 hours a week (rotative shift) 
Annual Leave: 20 Days  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily bar and restaurant operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Welcome and interact with guests, delivering excellent customer service.
  • Supervise and lead the bar & restaurant team, ensuring performance standards are met.
  • Manage food and beverage orders, table service, and billing using Micros.
  • Step in for the Food & Beverage Manager for duties such as rostering, stocktaking, and order management when required.
  • Train and mentor, the team, ensuring staff development and consistent training.
  • Handle customer issues and complaints professionally, maintaining positive relationships with guests.
  • Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are followed across the department.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

  • Previous supervisory experience in a bar and/or restaurant setting is essential.
  • Familiarity with Micros or similar POS systems.
  • Excellent customer care and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
