We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead and manage all bid and tender activities for our firm. As the Bid Manager, you will orchestrate a range of business development opportunities, working closely with a talented bid team and leveraging robust systems and technology to deliver high-quality, winning bids. This role requires a blend of leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on bid production skills, making it ideal for someone with a strong commercial mindset, excellent communication, and project management experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and provide strategic direction to the bid team. Foster a collaborative team environment to ensure alignment and success in bid objectives.
Strategic Oversight: Develop tailored strategies for each bid, conducting thorough background research and ensuring that all bids align with the firm’s strengths, competitive positioning, and business objectives.
Bid Management & Coordination: Collaborate with various practice groups and business service functions to coordinate bid activities, assign tasks, set milestones, and track progress to ensure timely and cohesive submissions.
Content Development: Oversee and contribute to the creation of compelling, clear, and targeted bid content. Work with subject matter experts and external vendors to produce persuasive, visually appealing proposals.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all bids are of the highest standard, compliant with client requirements, and free from errors. Conduct reviews and checks of both draft and final submissions.
Bid Submission: Oversee the final submission process, ensuring all documentation is complete and submitted on time, managing the logistics to ensure no delays.
Post-Bid Review: Conduct post-bid analysis to evaluate the process, gather feedback, and identify areas for future improvement in the bidding process.
Bid Process Development: Innovate and develop systems, tools, and processes to drive efficiency in bid production, collaborating closely with other business functions.
About You:
A proven leader with a track record of successfully managing bids and motivating high-performing teams.
Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
Commercially aware with the ability to strategize and tailor bids according to specific client needs and competitive landscapes.
Experience in working with subject matter experts, and external creative vendors, and producing persuasive, tailored content.
Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business and foster collaboration.
