Credit Control Executive – 6-month FTC

We are seeking a Credit Control Executive on behalf of our client to join their Credit Control Department. This role involves supporting the collection of public performance royalties, working closely with a team to maximize cash collections. The ideal candidate will have experience in credit control, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused approach. As a key member of the credit control team, you will engage directly with licensees, helping to ensure the timely collection of royalties while building strong relationships with customers.

Location: Dublin 2
Hybrid: Initially onsite with hybrid options after training
Salary: €32k pro-rata
Hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Monday – Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing day-to-day accounts, including contacting licensees by phone, letter, and email
  • Resolving customer queries and monitoring cash collection progress against budgetary targets
  • Maintaining databases and records for the Credit Control and Licensing sections
  • Liaising with the Licensing team to resolve invoice issues
  • Helping to achieve cash collection targets for the annual budget
  • Recording all interactions with licensees in the licensing system
  • Preparing cases for court if necessary, ensuring proper documentation, and attending as a witness if required
  • Supporting other departmental duties as assigned by management

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in credit control or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Confident and professional in dealing with clients
  • Experience in managing and resolving customer account queries
