Health and Safety Coordinator

Osborne is seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator to enhance the HSE area within the Compliance Department for our client in Dublin. This role offers a blend of office-based duties and site visits, reporting to the H&S Manager for Ireland & UK, ensuring that all HSEQ standards are adhered to.

Salary: €40,000 – €45,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Health & Safety support to the  Service and Project Departments.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure safety compliance and standards are met.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to drive safety engagement and adherence.
  • Perform audits, site inspections, and monitor subcontractor compliance.
  • Develop, review, and consult on Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Maintain and update the H&S Management system and project folders.
  • Partner with clients' Facilities Management Teams to ensure a cohesive safety approach.
  • Assist the H&S Manager in creating and delivering Health & Safety training programs.
  • Participate in internal and external H&S audits.
  • Fulfil travel requirements across Ireland.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong telephone and interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Education and Experience:

  • Relevant third-level education.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Health & Safety within a construction or manufacturing environment.
