Credit Control Specialist

We are working with a fast-paced retailer with a diverse client base spanning domestic, commercial, and public sectors. They are seeking an experienced Credit Control Specialist to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will split their time between credit control and administrative duties, working with multiple systems and demonstrating strong Excel proficiency. This role requires excellent client relationship management and the ability to coordinate with multiple contacts
 

  • Location: Dublin 22
  • Salary: €37,000 – €44,000 (DOE)
  • Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Hybrid Work: 1 day remote per week (after probation)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain sales/debtor ledger, ensuring timely debt collection.
  • Process customer receipts, manage card payments, and raise credit notes/statements.
  • Complete monthly reports and reconcile debtors.
  • Manage credit limits and credit insurance for clients.
  • Provide support to customers, addressing any queries and collecting outstanding debts.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Proficient in IT, including Excel and accounting software.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage confidential information discreetly.
