Area Sales Manager

The Osborne team are privileged to be working with our client, an Irish household brand for over 70 years. The company is one of the largest Irish manufactured grocery brands in the retail market and pride themselves on their commitment to delivering the highest quality products and exceptional service to their customers. The company are seeking to employ a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join the team in Galway. The primary focus of this role is to manage and increase sales, take responsibility for the management and development of Van Sales, Authorized Distributors, and associated depots to ensure the consistent delivery and execution of a best-in-class customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive and increase sales within the assigned area of Galway.
• Manage and develop Van Sales teams and Authorized Distributors.
• Oversee associated depots to ensure efficient operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business goals.
• Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive market expansion.

Skills required:

• Proven track record of success in sales management.
• Strong ability to grow and maintain sales in a competitive market.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of the Galway market would be a plus.
