Educational Project Officer

Here at Osborne, we are hiring an Educational Project Officer for a 2-year fixed term contract on behalf of our client, one of Ireland’s leading premier venues located in Dublin 4. The ideal candidates will be working with the Programme Manager to successfully deliver educational programmes for the organisation throughout the year.
***This is a 2-year fixed term contract***
 
Package:

  • Salary up to €40,000 DOE
  • Monday to Friday
  • Free staff parking 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Programme Manager in the delivery of events and activities across the Science and Technology programme
  • Manage the delivery of events including the coordination of a large number of external suppliers
  • Management of this process includes the recruitment, training and briefing of judges prior to each of the 3 events
  • Recruit and manage exhibitors for each event under specific themes
  • Manage the procurement process in relation to all events including development of tenders and raising of PO’s
  • Manage programme communications including social media, website and PR in conjunction with the Communications team
  • Develop and manage stakeholder events in conjunction with the Fundraising Team
  • Conduct annual evaluation of programmes including surveys to ensure projects are on track and achieve goals
  • Provide assistance in the preparation of internal and external reports
  • Provide support for additional Science programme activities and other projects, events or activities as directed by the Programme Manager  

Skills/Experience Required:

  • At least 3 years’ previous experience in a similar position which includes project / event management is essential
  • Experience managing multiple supplier and stakeholder relationships
  • Experience managing budgets
  • Experience in communication / marketing
  • Experience of working within the education sector in Ireland (ROI and NI) would be beneficial
