Accounts Payable Specialist – County Meath

We are seeking a diligent and energetic AP Specialist to join the finance department. Working with multiple vendors and sub-contractors, the accounts payable specialist will have an excellent attention to detail and strong communication / relationship skills. 

Salary: €35,000 – €40,000 DOE – Pension – 10% bonus – Annual Profit Share Scheme – 21 Days Annual Leave – Excellent progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership of the Accounts Payable process
• Maintaining relationships with vendors, partners and suppliers.
• Strong attention to detail – High volume of line items on invoices
• Managing AP mailbox daily.
• Account Reconciliation
• Effective communication with all departments.
• Manage all supplier payments.
• RCT submissions.
• Audit assistance and preparation.
• Working with the finance team and assisting when required.
• Ad hoc project work as and when required.

Ideal candidate requirements:

• 2-3 years AP experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience using SAP and Excel.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent organisational and administration skills.
• Ability to work under pressure to monthly deadlines.
