Senior Utilities Engineer

Purpose:
The Senior Utilities Engineer will support site operations, focusing on utilities and energy management. Responsibilities include driving energy efficiency, managing plant improvements, and preparing the company for future needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead initiatives to reduce energy usage and increase plant efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and quality standards.
• Support production trials and process modifications.
• Mentor maintenance and operational teams.
• Coordinate Lean activities within processes.
• Provide technical leadership for large projects and equipment upgrades.
• Innovate and propose technological improvements.
• Support the Operation Excellence program with Lean tools.
• Propose and execute capital projects.

Qualifications/Experience: 

• BSc in Engineering
• 10+ years in Utilities engineering or senior project roles
• Lean certification preferred
• Experience with steam, thermal oil, and heavy rotating plant
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and analytical skills
• Knowledge of SOPs, safety legislation, and Lean principles
