Field Service Technician

Osborne Recruitment are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our client’s team on a full-time basis. The main function of this position is to provide support to customers in the area of maintenance and service backup. This is a customer facing role.

Duties:

• Work closely with the service manager to ensure efficient service scheduling
• Planning and reporting using the appropriate systems (SAP, Job Cards etc)
• Flexibility in terms of availability to respond to customer needs
• Close communication with customers to ensure satisfaction in the service process
• Personal development in terms of specific training courses, travel to Germany
• Care and maintenance of all tools and measuring equipment
• Accurate and timely completion of weekly timesheets and job cards.
• To fully participate in continuous improvement initiatives, working in teams as required and working with ISO Quality System

Qualifications:

• Technical Qualification: Must have completed a recognised apprenticeship (electrical or mechanical)
• Experience in compressed air systems would be an advantage
• Good communication skills and empathy with customers with an ability to explain clearly and concisely and an ability to listen
• 5 years of experience as a Field Service Technician
• Full Driving License
• Competency in problem solving – full training provided
• Ability to work both on an individual and team basis
