Finance Manager – Permanent 

Location: Dublin 2 (Hybrid)

Osborne are currently hiring on behalf of our client  a dynamic and innovative company in the property management/real estate sector. They are looking for a highly skilled Finance Manager to join their team and contribute to their continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivering the business strategy for your department by achieving business goals, inclusive of increasing profitability through effective cost management.
  • Manage all accounting operations including, AIR, A/P, GL, Treasury and Revenue Recognition.
  • Responsible for all financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, annual reports and KPI reporting.
  • Preparation of individual entity accounts and consolidated month end accounts and reporting pack including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow and KPl's
  • Working closely with and providing ongoing support and advice to the MD, CFO and the property management finance teams.
  • Key input into and preparation of annual budgets and 3-year projections.
  • The nature of property development means timely reporting of financial information and excellence in cashflow management are critical to ensure effective decision making.
  • Coordinate year-end audit, managing the audit process and be point of contact for external parties.
  • Responsible for the continuous focus on finance process improvements, ERP, IT system updates/roll outs.
  • Day-to-day financial control of the Company
  • Oversee Budget, forecasting and cash flow management.
  • Oversee all transactions posted to financial systems.
  • Liaising with tax advisors re annual corporation tax returns for all registered entities
  • Review and ensure timely submission/payment of VAT/PAYE/DWT returns for all entities.
  • Liaising with Company secretarial advisors re CRO returns for all entities.
  • Monthly payroll oversight and payment
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions, financial reporting and management reporting.
  • Day to day management and coaching of the finance team.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Additional ad-hoc duties as necessary

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Accountant – Chartered Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
  • Experience in the property management/real estate industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with accounting software.
  • Strategic and forward-thinking approach.
  • Hands-on, supportive approach is essential.
  • Experience supporting and implementing a new ERP system.
  • Understanding of the full Finance function, including A/R, A/P, GL, and Treasury.
  • Confident with a positive attitude.
  • Resilient approach towards workload.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity that arises as part of the role.
