Onboarding Specialist
Permanent, Full-Time
Monaghan – Hybrid working

Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a committed and passionate Onboarding Coordinator for our client within a private organization in Monaghan area. As Onboarding Specialist, you will be reporting to the HR Manager and will be part of the Recruitment team working closely with Recruiters, Training and HR teams to ensure a seamless and positive experience for all new starters.  


  • Responsible for quality control, compliance and timely processing of all post offer recruitment activities.
  • Point of contact for all onboarding queries which candidates may have prior to joining.
  • Following up with candidates once an offer has been made to ensure that all documents are in order and returned.
  • Administer and Maintain HRIS (TMS) and ATS (See-Me-Hired) databases and Software Platforms for all new joiners.
  • Daily accurate updating of recruitment and onboarding trackers. Provide regular updates on progress; to ensure timely notification of any potential issues or areas of concern.
  • Attending weekly meetings with Recruitment, Training, HR to ensure all teams have all relevant data and documentation related to new joiners for a seamless transition to Induction; training and deployment to the relevant homes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to establish rapport and provide a positive onboarding experience with new hires.
  • The ability to plan, organize, and oversee several onboarding procedures at once requires attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the various needs and backgrounds of new hires.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple compliance and onboarding requirements simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Observe strict compliance regarding Recruitment, Screening (and HR) processes, protecting confidential, sensitive information and materials.
  • Provide regular data reports and updates to HR Management and stakeholders regarding onboarding, screening and compliance metrics and delivery to assist in managing stakeholder expectations.


  • A primary degree, preferably in Human Resources or a related area.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Candidate management skills.
  • Previous experience working in a recruitment, compliance or onboarding, co-ordinator role is a distinct advantage.
  • Ability to provide a customer-focused service, to work in a team and under tight deadlines and to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while remaining results oriented.
  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional level of administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • You will understand the importance of timely and accurate data management.
  • Strong Teamwork Skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems; data analysis, reporting tools and Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel)
