Warehouse Team Lead

Today at Osborne we are seeking a Senior Warehouse Assistant who is ready to take the next step into a Warehouse Team Lead role.  This is a permanent position based in Dublin 15.
As Warehouse Team Lead you will report into the Warehouse Manager & will be responsible for the day to day duties of a small team in a certain section of this Warehouse. 
This is a lovely opportunity for you to further your career in Warehousing.

Salary & Benefits:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the intake, storage, despatch and processing of orders and returns within the warehouse
  • Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance
  • Organize and maintain inventory and storage area ensuring pick slots are kept full and space is optimized
  • Ensure shipments and stock transactions accuracy
  • Communicate job expectations and coach employees
  • Determine staffing levels and assign workload
  • Interface with stakeholders to answer questions or solve problems
  • Monitor team members to ensure safety procedures are being followed when operating FLT’s
  • Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
  • Confer and coordinate activities with other departments

Requirements and skills:

  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor & clear knowledge of warehouse operations
  • Reach truck licence
  • Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
  • Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data
  • Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to delegate and prioritize when assigning employee workloads
  • Problem-solving skills to handle customer complaints and operational issues
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
