Sales Representative (Builders Suppliers) – Permanent

Salary:
€45,000+ DOE Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Location: Dublin 3

Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a Sales Representative to join our client's team at their Builders Providers division.
This role focuses on generating new business sales and developing relationships with existing customers.
The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end marketing, sales, and relationship management process to achieve sales targets.
 

Experience and Knowledge:

· Minimum 5 years of solid building materials sales experience within the construction industry.

· Exceptional knowledge of building material products and pricing.
 

Responsibilities:

· Sales: Plan, organise, deliver, and continually monitor sales and sales opportunities for both new business and existing customers.

· Marketing and Market Intelligence: Create demand for products and services by proactively monitoring construction industry activities and trends. Identify and capitalise on emerging opportunities. Develop new leads and grow the customer base.

· Financial Performance: Set and achieve quarterly and annual sales, margin, and new business targets.

· Relationships: Liaise with the counter sales team to identify and service new and existing customers. Support and enable colleagues through cross-functional participation to maintain efficient and effective end-to-end communications and relationships.

· Customer Service: Develop and maintain strong and loyal working relationships with customers.

· Reporting: Prepare and present monthly reports on new and existing business opportunities and achievements. Prepare and distribute weekly journey plans and site visit reports.

· Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and processes.

· Administration: Attend and participate in management meetings, general administration, query management activities, and any other reasonable duties as required.
