Accounts Payable/ Accounts Assistant

Here at Osborne, we are currently hiring for an Accounts Payable/Accounts Assistant for a well-known SME company in Naas, Co. Kildare. They pride themselves on fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment and are dedicated to excellence and innovation. As they continue to grow, they are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated AP/ Accounts Assistant to join their finance team.

Location: Naas, Co. Kildare.
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent role (Fully on-site).
Hours of work: 9am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday.
Salary: up to €40K DOE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts payable: Process invoices, payments and receipts accurately and timely.
  • Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations of bank/vendor/credit card statements to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Data Entry: Maintain and update financial records in the accounting system with attention to detail.
  • Expense Management: Monitor and process employee expense claims and credit card statements.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support Audits: Aid in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Monitor pricing: Closely monitor supplier pricing and promptly report any price increases to management.
  • System and process improvement.
  • General Administrative Duties: Provide administrative support, as required.


  • Accounting Technician qualification or similar, is required.


  • 3-5+ years of experience in a similar role within a small/medium sized enterprise, is required.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Attention to Detail

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.

Team Player

  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
