Payroll Specialist

Location: Dublin 2
Salary:  €38-40,000 DOE

My client is a dynamic and rapidly expanding company, renowned for its innovative approach and commitment to excellence. We are currently seeking to recruit a Payroll Specialist to join our growing team based in our Dublin office. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key member of a supportive and inspiring team of professionals.

Position Overview: As a Payroll Specialist, you will be a key member of our Dublin team, providing essential payroll capacity and real-time support within the GMT time zone. Reporting directly to the Director of Global Payroll and Benefits, you will ensure smooth payroll operations across multiple regions. This role is crucial in managing payroll queries promptly and maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for multiple regions, including Ireland, the UK, the EU, the US, and Canada.
  • Handle payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Prepare and submit accurate payroll reports and summaries.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to streamline payroll processes.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the new ADP payroll system.
  • Manage the transition of Belgium payroll to ADP and support other transitions as needed.
  • Focus initially on Irish payroll, expanding to global payroll responsibilities as you grow in the role.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a payroll role, with exposure to Irish payroll.
  • Experience with ADP payroll systems is essential.
  • IPASS certification or working towards it is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent data inputting skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple payrolls, including mid-month and end-month cycles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to respond to payroll queries promptly and professionally.
