Seeking – Accountant in Dublin 2

Osborne Recruitment is delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join a dynamic finance team based in Dublin 2.

This role offers a competitive salary, hybrid working arrangements, and the chance to work in brand new offices.

Location: Dublin 2
Salary: €50,000 – €60,000, Depending on Experience
Working Arrangement: Hybrid


Role Overview: The Accountant will play a vital role in supporting key finance processes for the Irish Finance team.

This includes tasks such as month-end close, management accounts production, cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting.

The successful candidate will be a strong team player with a solid understanding of accounting principles and processes.


The Ideal Candidate:

  • Recently Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).
  • Strong experience with Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Confident with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working with people at all levels.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all financial transactions are processed accurately and timely, adhering to relevant standards.
  • Assist in creating and dispatching invoices accurately and promptly.
  • Manage the purchase ledger by liaising with the PLO team to ensure creditor invoices are uploaded, approved, and paid timely.
  • Reconcile intercompany trading accounts.
  • Handle month-end reporting for assigned companies, ensuring compliance with regional and group deadlines, and assist with year-end reporting.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly cash flow forecasts to provide accurate future cash flow and balance representations.
  • Assist with external audits, VAT/Tax returns, and related processes as required.
  • Support the supplier payments process.
  • Facilitate end-to-end budget and forecast processes for assigned cost centers.
  • Focus on continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process efficiencies and simplification.
  • Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.
  • Manage other ad-hoc requests and administrative tasks as required.
