Supply Chain Manager         

Our client is a global manufacturing company who design, manufacture and install customised Air Handling Units for both commercial and industrial use. I am currently recruiting a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team and oversee all aspects of the supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in supply chain management, logistics, and procurement. They will be responsible for optimizing the supply chain processes, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials and services to support the company operations.
This permanent full-time position will be fully based on site located in Balbriggan North County Dublin. 

Salary & Benefits:

  • €45,000 – €50,000 DOE
  • Monday to Friday
  • Fully Onsite Based 
  • Canteen
  • Car Park 

Main Duties:

  • Developing and executing supply chain strategies to optimise efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and engineering, to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
  • Monitoring and enhancing supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and on-time delivery of materials.
  • Managing inventory levels to strike a balance between meeting customer demands and minimizing excess stock.
  • Leading process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and drive continuous efficiency gains.
  • Identifying and mitigating supply chain risks to ensure business continuity.
  • Monitoring and analysing key performance indicators to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the supply chain team.

Key Requirements:

  • Three years of experience in supply chain management would be preferred, preferably within a manufacturing environment although the right graduate would be considered.
  • A proven track record of successfully optimizing supply chain processes and achieving tangible results.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems is a distinct advantage, although not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management standards is considered a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze complex situations and provide effective solutions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
