Senior Executive Officer – Temporary

This is a temporary role offering the chance to make a significant impact over the next 2-3 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Support the refinement of the organization's Communications Strategy, driving forward initiatives to enhance public engagement and perception.
  • Media Management: Implement robust procedures and standards for media management, events, corporate identity, and customer communications, ensuring consistency and excellence.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster positive media relationships to amplify the organization's message and strengthen public confidence.
  • Content Creation: Assist in creating and developing key publications, including the coordination and publication of the staff newsletter.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines, maintaining the organization's reputation and integrity.
  • Digital Presence: Update and enhance website content, manage social media accounts, and explore innovative opportunities for digital expansion within the broader communications strategy.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in communications or public relations, ideally within a similar organization or industry.
  • Educational Background: Strong educational background in communication strategies and principles, providing a solid foundation for success.
  • Media Relations: Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with the media, including pitching stories, building relationships with journalists, and managing inquiries.
  • Content Creation: Proficiency in writing and editing content for various platforms, from press releases to social media posts.
  • Project Management: Experience in coordinating and managing projects, events, or campaigns, ensuring successful execution within deadlines and budgets.
  • Digital Proficiency: Familiarity with social media platforms, analytics tools, and digital marketing strategies to enhance the organization's online presence.
