Account Manager

I am currently looking for an Account Manager to work with a leading and successful Fashion Accessories company located in Dublin 15. This permanent role will allow someone to build new relationships with clients and also maintain current relations with already loyal customers. 
The successful candidate will ideally come from a retail management background.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Develop strong, long-term relationships with key accounts to maximize sales and ensure customer satisfaction by serving as the primary point of contact for all inquiries, orders, and support needs. 
  • Order Management: Co-ordinate order processing, shipment logistics, and stock management to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to retail partners. Monitor Stock levels and collaborate with internal teams to fulfil orders efficiently. 
  • Customer Service: Working closely with the team to provide exceptional customer service to retail partners, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive buying experience. Proactively communicate with accounts to gather feedback, assess satisfaction levels, and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Merchandising: Co-ordinate the merchandising team, launch of seasonal changeovers & new ranges into stores. Develop merchandising planograms and communicate details to all merchandisers to ensure smooth launch/exit plan. 
  • Communication: Ensuring Customer requirements are clearly executed to the merchandising team and internal teams in the business. 
  • Reporting: Analyse weekly sales & stock reports. Prepare Monthly, Quarterly & Seasonal Reports – providing high level feedback to Management on progress of sales by style & stores and stock levels. 
  • Promotional Activities: Collaborate with functional teams to plan and execute promotional activities, events, and campaigns to drive brand awareness and stimulate sales. Provide feedback and insights to inform marketing strategies and initiatives. 
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences within the industry. Utilize market insights to identify opportunities, anticipate challenges, and adapt sales strategies accordingly. 
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of our product line, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Provide product training and support to our merchandising team, and retail partners. 

Key Requirements:

  • Strong people skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with retail partners and internal teams. 
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. High level competency in Excel is necessary. 
  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in the fashion or retail industry. 
  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
