Sales Administrator

Osborne is recruiting for a Sales Administrator on behalf of one of our clients in Tramore. We are seeking a dynamic and organised Sales Administrator to join a well established Business in Tramore . The Sales Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team, ensuring smooth operations, and delivering an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

About the Role:

  • Salary 30k
  • Monday to Friday  9 – 5.30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in-store and over the phone, providing product information, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns.
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Process sales transactions accurately.  Knowledge of SAGE an advantage.
  • Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular stock checks, and placing orders as needed.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues related to orders.
  • Generate invoices, receipts, and other documentation accurately.
  • Keep the sales floor organized and presentable, including restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring cleanliness.
  • Assist in merchandising efforts to showcase products effectively and attractively.
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally, seeking resolution to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Compile and maintain sales reports, including daily transactions, inventory levels, and customer feedback.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling appointments, preparing documents, and organizing sales materials.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and positive work environment.

You will have:

  • Proven experience in a customer service or sales support role, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems and other computer applications; familiarity with inventory management software is an advantage.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
