Legal Executive – Perm – Dublin 4

Osborne is very pleased to be working with a multi-award-winning boutique practice based in central Dublin which is currently seeking to add an experienced Legal Executive to their talented, trusted team.  This excellent firm, recognised as Law Firm of the Year 2024 in its areas of specialism, has a particularly strong client base, focusing on conveyancing and probate work, but also providing advice on linked contentious matters where these arise.  They have been recognised, year-on-year, for their outstanding contribution to these specialist areas of law.

Salary: €40k-€50k DOE
Hours: 9am to 5:30pm (Mon to Fri)
Location: Dublin 4

Role and responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate can expect to work closely with the solicitors and partners in the firm dealing with:
  • All aspects of conveyancing transactions, including property sales, purchases, remortgages and voluntary transfers.
  • Review and drafting of legal documentation required for conveyancing transactions such as Contract for Sale, Requisitions on Title, Declarations etc.
  • Attending to the registration of title in the Registry of Deed and Tailte Éireann.
  • Review and drafting of legal documentation required for probate matter such as Statement of Affairs, Notice of Application and Oaths.
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors and any other third party to progress matters as directed by the partners and solicitors of the firm.
  • Other administrative tasks and ad hoc projects as requested.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of experience working as a Legal Executive with a significant amount of this being in Conveyancing/Probate work.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly manner to enable effective and positive engagement with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Highly organised and motivated with the ability to prioritise workloads and work well to deadlines.
  • Good time management and work ethic with a willingness to learn. 
  • Strong MS Office skills and experience in using legal case management software and other relevant tools.
  • Professionalism and a strong commitment to client service.
