We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Property and Assets Officer to join their dynamic team on a 12-week temporary assignment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's property and assets portfolio, ensuring optimal performance, maintenance, and compliance with regulations. Salary & Benefits:
€26 per hour
Mon-Fri (37.5 hours weekly)
Flexi time option. core hours 10am-12pm 2pm – 4pm
Mileage paid for
Oversee the management and maintenance of the company's property and assets portfolio, including residential properties, communal areas, and facilities.
Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess condition, identify maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Develop and implement asset management strategies to maximize the value and performance of properties, including budgeting, forecasting, and risk assessment.
Coordinate repairs, renovations, and maintenance activities in collaboration with external contractors and internal teams.
Manage tenant relations, including responding to inquiries, addressing complaints, and ensuring a high standard of customer service.
Maintain accurate records of property-related transactions, leases, contracts, and compliance documentation.
Monitor rental income, expenses, and financial performance of properties, and prepare reports for management review.
Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting property management and asset maintenance.
Level 6 Certificate/Advanced Certificate or equivalent in a surveying, building services or property management related discipline
Degree in surveying, building services or facilities management (desirable)
A minimum of 3 year's relevant experience in construction or estate management.
Must have valid Safe Pass
Must have own transport
Experience of contractor management and working to procurement regulations.
Experience of the Housing sector in the provision of adaptations to social housing dwellings (desirable)
Sound knowledge of building construction and knowledge and experience in the diagnosing of repairs to domestic dwellings and buildings.
An understanding and appreciation of the Social Housing environment and our tenants' needs
A strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and a commitment to keep this knowledge up to date and current.
