Role Overview

Working as part of the Global Markets Division (GMD), this individual will help make a significant impact on GMD’s success by supporting the development, implementation, and execution of strategic initiatives through a range of global projects. The role will involve working closely with the Line Manager, GMD Leadership, the Digital Acceleration Team, and other cross-functional stakeholders and will require a detail-oriented individual with an interest in data interpretation and analysis to extract insights that can drive informed decision-making for the division.

Key Deliverables

  • Act as a key support for the administration, implementation, and delivery of the Global Markets Division (GMD) strategy. This responsibility will involve collaborating closely with the Line Manager, the GMD leadership team, the Digital Acceleration team, and other cross-functional stakeholders to execute the work plan and achieve ambitious role KPIs.
  • Undertake research and data analysis to identify trends and insights for the GMD leadership team and assist in the development and preparation of strategic documents & plans.
  • Receive, review, collate and process information and produce accurate and timely management reports, including but not limited to reporting on agreed KPIs for the team.
  • Maintain and update documentation, tracking systems and databases as required, including helping to manage a digitization support email.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and system efficiencies and provide support for continuous improvement initiatives across the Division.
  • Participate in associated working groups & strategic initiatives across the GMD, in particular the Digital Acceleration team.
  • Build strong relationships with relevant Enterprise Ireland colleagues across the division and wider organisation to help develop a highly professional integrated approach to supporting companies.
  • Plan, organise and co-ordinate events, meetings, and initiatives both internally and externally.
  • Undertake various projects as assigned.

 

Functional Competencies

  • Excellent planning, administration, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage work time efficiently to meet challenging deadlines, is essential.
  • Experience in providing project management skills with the ability to co-ordinate inputs and activities from across relevant parts of the organization is essential.
  • Demonstrated evidence of robust IT literacy (i.e., MS Office skills including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is essential, coupled with an ability to learn new technologies and develop skills across various platforms including Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Understanding of the role and key activities of the Global Markets Division.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to process and analyse data and information efficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability and/or experience to proactively build and engage in networks and relationships across a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to work confidently on own initiative.
  • A third level qualification or progress towards a relevant third level business qualification is desirable.

Salary Scale:

€28,314 to €53,994 per annum contributory superannuation

Rising to €57,529 by long service increments.

€27,046 to €51,432 per annum non-contributory superannuation

Rising to €54,754 by long service increments

Candidates should note that entry will be at the minimum of the relevant scale and the rate of remuneration may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy. Subject to satisfactory performance, increments may be payable in line with current Government policy.
