Head of Individual Giving 
Osborne in partnership with a significant Irish charity are recruiting for an accomplished Head of Individual Giving to become an integral part of our team. As an already accomplished fundraising manager, your role will involve creating and executing strategies aimed at fostering and sustaining connections with individual donors. This includes optimizing their contributions through consistent giving, donations, and various fundraising endeavours. This role provides an exceptional chance to make a meaningful difference and actively contribute to the crucial mission of the organisation. 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for individual donor engagement to enhance contributions and backing for the charity. 

  • Foster and nurture relationships with individual contributors, ensuring a personalized approach and sustained involvement. 

  • Identify, investigate, and nurture new potential supporters for individual giving through diverse channels, such as direct mail, online initiatives, events, and corporate collaborations. 

  • Work collaboratively with the marketing and communications team to craft compelling fundraising materials, including appeal letters, newsletters, and materials recognizing donor contributions. 

  • Strategize and implement targeted fundraising events and campaigns for individual donors, encompassing appreciation events, giving days, and peer-to-peer fundraising endeavours. 

  • Provide exemplary donor stewardship, including prompt acknowledgment of donations, personalized communication, and regular updates on the tangible impact of donor support. 

  • Leverage donor management software and systems to maintain precise donor records, monitor interactions, and analyse fundraising data. 

  • Assess and evaluate fundraising initiatives regularly, delivering progress reports, analysing outcomes, and suggesting enhancements. 

  • Stay abreast of current trends and optimal practices in individual giving and fundraising, continually seeking avenues to enhance fundraising strategies. 

  • Collaborate with various teams within the organization, including programs, finance, and communications, to ensure synergy and optimize fundraising endeavours. 


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in fundraising, non-profit management, or a related area. 

  • Proven experience in individual giving fundraising, including donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. 

  • Strong understanding of fundraising principles, strategies, and best practices, with a track record of achieving fundraising goals. 

  • Proficient in fostering and nurturing positive connections with donors, volunteers, and peers alike through adept interpersonal abilities. 

  • Possesses outstanding written and verbal communication skills, adept at crafting compelling fundraising materials and effectively captivating donors. 

  • Demonstrable organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and adeptness in juggling multiple projects and priorities concurrently. 

  • Skilled in utilizing donor management software and various fundraising tools proficiently. 

  • Will wholeheartedly embrace the mission and values of the organization. 

  • Capable of thriving both autonomously and collaboratively within a team setting. 

  • Willingness to adapt and accommodate flexible work hours, including evenings and weekends, to facilitate events and engage donors effectively.
