Revenue Accountant/Analyst – Dublin 6

Salary: €45,000 – €55,000

Hybrid Working Available

Duration: Permanent

Join our dynamic finance team as a Revenue Accountant/Analyst and play a pivotal role in managing client finances. We are a forward-thinking organization committed to fostering an innovative and collaborative work environment.

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 3-4 years in a similar role in a comparable company.
  • Proficient in Excel (utilizing FN functions, defining print formats).
  • Demonstrates attention to detail, day-to-day planning, and working on own initiative.
  • Experience in client-facing roles and client interaction.
  • Advertising agency or creative company experience.
  • Multinational organization exposure.
  • IATI or CIMA qualification or ACCA part-qualified.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the client team in completing estimating documents.
  • Review and ensure proper filing and naming conventions for estimate documents.
  • Aid in regular forecasting, presenting scope and re-forecast sheets for discussion.
  • Monitor live projects, identifying potential issues with hours or cost overruns.
  • Actively manage Work in Progress (WIP) on open jobs.
  • Flag concerns regarding cost overruns to the CFO.
  • Invoice clients regularly based on estimates, ensuring accuracy in class codes.
  • Manage deferred income balance for clients.
  • Prepare accruals lists by job and support with appropriate documents.
  • Send monthly statements to clients and proactively follow up on overdue payments.
  • Build relationships with client finance teams to expedite payments.
  • Set up and maintain client information.
  • Keep Fee Rate & Retainer schedule updated.
  • Apply for and maintain credit insurance for clients.
  • Monitor outstanding invoices and WIP against credit limits.
  • Reconcile income by client to the P&L.
  • Provide input for analyzing client profitability and revenue levels.
  • Complete various analysis returns required by Omnicom.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses as requested.
  • Conduct financial process inductions for new staff.
  • Reconcile retainers/hours.
  • Prepare Client Budget Control Sheets when required.
  • Handle discount and rebate billing.
  • Attend to other ad-hoc requests.
