Packaging Operative

At Osborne we are currently recruiting for Packaging Operative to join a leading global manufacturer and supplier of medical equipment who are based in Bray, Co. Wicklow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out the daily duties as scheduled by the Supervisor according to GMP and the quality system.
  • Assemble , Pack and Pouch Trin Screen products in accordance with the relevant S.O.P’s, in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • Print/label and packaging of products in an efficient manner. 
  • Ensure that all documentation is completed correctly and has been proof read prior to submission to the supervisor or an appropriate delegate for review.
  • Review and revise documentation as requested by the Supervisor and recommend any improvements where appropriate.
  • Build productive relationships with other members of the Team. 
  • To comply with the Quality system policies, procedures and guidelines at all times 
  • To adhere to all training given at the facility and strive to maintain 100% completion of personal training records at all times.
  • Highlight any issues which may lead to failure in Production, Quality or Compliance. 
  • Ensure stocks of required materials are ready and available at all times. 
  •  Assume responsibility for the day-to-day housekeeping duties.
  • Make-certain that each machine is in good repair and works in accordance to GMP set by the company.
  • To be flexible and willing to carry out overtime as necessary with advance notice.
  • To carry out any duties as requested by the Supervisor/ Manager. 
  •  Participate in Continuous Improvement programs to implement improvements in Quality, Safety and Production Systems.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out in a safe manner in accordance with H&S procedures. 

Education and Experience:

  • Preferably at least one (1) years industrial experience in the 
  • Understanding of production operations, quality assurance/control and cGMP/GLP requirements. 
  • To show a high level of care and attention to all aspects of the role and show a desire to achieve excellence through own initiative.
  • Proven team player capable of working within multiple areas whilst maximising performance. Skills and Behaviours

  • The successful applicant will pay attention to detail and work with a sense of urgency and have the ability to be impartial and objective.
  • Have a can do attitude and willingness to succeed.  Be able to work on own initiative.
