Financial Controller – Limerick City

We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller in Limerick City.

Salary: DOE

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Presentations to the Executives, showing current and forecasted business position and highlighting future opportunities and any business challenges ahead.
  • As a key member of the senior management team you will play a significant role in the production of the annual business plan and review of same.
  • Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends and financial forecasts.
  • Pro-active contribution to the overall property management and cost management.
  • Safeguard the assets of the business with particular emphasis on the maintenance of sound internal control systems.
  • To develop the skills and competencies of the finance teams in all areas of the finance function.
  • To drive and lead our departmental managers in achieving our  KPI’s.
  • To posses a strong acumen in technology to analysis data in real time and turn into valuable business insights.

Requirements:

  • We are looking for an ambitious, confident and professional individual with strong communication, organisational, analytical and management skills.
  • System experience of Sage, Opera and Procure Wizard though not essential.
  • The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with 3 years PQE
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate accounting experience, preferably in a hospitality, food & beverage environment or within the retail sector
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • 2-3 years’ proven experience in an accountancy role
