Here at Osborne, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Fundraising Manager to join our client’s growing team. Our client is an established, Irish registered charity with a legacy spanning over 60 years. Our client offers a range of support services including education in schools and professional counselling. The successful candidate will have prior experience working within a leadership position within fundraising and have strong knowledge of the not-for-profit sector. As the Senior Fundraising Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation’s growth and impact by implementing strategic fundraising initiatives and cultivating donor relationships.
Salary: €65k+ DOE
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet annual and long-term fundraising goals.
Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors, corporate sponsors, foundations, and other funding sources.
Oversee the planning and execution of special events, fundraising campaigns, and donor recognition activities.
Prepare and present regular reports on fundraising progress to the executive team and board of directors.
Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create compelling fundraising materials and campaigns.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards in fundraising practices.
Foster a culture of philanthropy within the organization and among donors and stakeholders
Utilize data-driven approaches to analyze fundraising performance and identify areas for improvement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including board members, volunteers, and community partners.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management position within fundraising, corporate engagement, or individual giving.
Proven track record of successful fundraising across multiple channels, including major gifts, corporate sponsorships, and grant writing.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
The ability to provide analysis on and implement innovative fundraising strategies.
The ability to manage a set budget and to generate leads to maintain and increase this budget.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Experience with donor management software and fundraising platforms.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
