Senior Account Executive – CIP Qualified – Permanent – Dublin City Centre – Hybrid

Here at Osborne, we are currently seeking a Senior Account Executive on behalf of our client within the insurance sector. The Senior Account Executive is an ideal position for candidates seeking an opportunity to apply their expert knowledge within the insurance industry.
Please note that a CIP qualification in addition to a minimum of 10 years experience within insurance is required.

Salary: €80K+ DOE


  • Developing and maintaining favourable internal and external relationships, with clients while providing the highest level of customer service.
  • Overseeing the servicing of designated businesses relating to marketing, claims, and administration
  • Recommending potential enhancements or improvements to processes, products, and/or policies
  • Using discretion and independent judgment when analysing industry trends and providing related client guidance.
  • Developing models and reports for clients and more senior staff, providing interpretation and implication of analysis, as well as recommendations
  • Providing expertise in strategic planning and consultative advice to clients, including the production, analysis, and recommendations for changes to coverage plans
  • Engaging in client strategy meetings to manage insured expectations for upcoming term
  • Developing and presenting coverage plans and renewal terms to clients
  • Interpreting and evaluating policy terms to ensure adequate coverage for key clients.
  • Identifying risk exposures and advise on risk management solutions
  • Reviewing new business opportunity information and providing related recommendations
  • Researching and understands industry trends and government regulations


  • At least 10 years account management experience within insurance
  • CIP Qualification is essential for this post.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Ability to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessions.
  • Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to identify and capitalize on business development opportunities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills for comprehensive research and investigation.
  • Capable of fostering and nurturing strong business relationships.
