*€60-65K – Production Coordinator – Leixlip, Co. Kildare*
Here in Osborne, we are actively seeking a skilled Production Coordinator with a proven track record in moulding operations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in meeting customer expectations and ensuring operational efficiency.
Package:
€60,000 – €65,000 (DOE)
Pension & VHI after 6 months probation
21 days AL
39hr week (Mon-Fri)

The Ideal Candidate:
Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field is a plus
3rd level qualification in a management role in manufacturing
Strong team-building, decision-making, and people management skills
Experience in FDA and ISO Quality Systems is preferred
Knowledge/understanding, operating, and experience in ERP systems is essential
Inventory management and control experience essential
Experience in developing and managing KPI’s
Previous experience/understanding of management principles
Expertise within the plastics industry is advantageous
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English proficiently
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong skills in customer relations
Knowledge of design techniques and technical plans
Essential Functions:
Manage operations to achieve safety, productivity, quality, and cost goals
Coordinate activities between shifts for seamless operations
Provide support to all shifts for optimal growth and profitability while prioritizing safety
Ensure highest standards of quality are maintained
Lead, review, train, and mentor molding and assembly staff
Develop long-term plans for new processes and equipment
Facilitate communication between Manufacturing, Engineering, and Tool room
Conduct hiring, performance reviews, and training for molding departments
Solve complex problems using lean manufacturing and six sigma tools
Collaborate with customers for continuous improvement efforts
Work Environment:
Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places, fumes, or airborne particles
The noise level can be occasionally loud
Regularly required to stand, sit, use hands, and reach with hands and arms
Occasionally required to walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and talk and hear
Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds
