Stock Controller – Salary DOE – Dublin 10 – Permanent   

Have you got a background in Stock / Inventory & looking to move into a new position? If yes then this could be the job for you!! 
We are currently seeking a Stock Controller to work in a leading Heating and Plumbing company located in Dublin 10.  This permanent full-time role will be for someone who has experience working in a stock controller role and be familiar of a busy warehouse environment. 
Interviews for this role will start immediately.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary depending on experience 
  • Car park
  • Canteen 
  • Monday to Friday role – No weekend work
  • Hours: 8.30 to 5pm 

Responsibilities:

  • Placing POs to suppliers
  • Review outstanding POs with suppliers for product lead time updates
  • Ensure best pricing where multiple suppliers exist for product
  • Updating cost prices on Intact IQ
  • Liaising with internal staff on supplier order updates
  • Updating Intact IQ for customer returns in a timely period so credits can be issued
  • Implement and carry out frequent cycle counts
  • Investigate & correct stock discrepancies
  • Ensure Intact IQ is correct with stock quantities
  • Assess preauthorised customer returns for return to stock for resale, write off, repair and follow through on any supplier claims arising therefrom
  • Maximise the use of Intact IQ for the role and within the business
  • Ensure stock costing accuracy on Intact
  • Maintain a warehouse & spares location system in conjunction with the warehouse and trade counter managers

Key Requirements:

  • A number of years relevant experience working as a stock controller
  • Knowledge of Intact IQ & ERP systems is desirable
  • Have worked in a busy warehouse environment with multiple product lines
  • Experienced in the use of hand-held scanners
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills.
  • Able to multi-task and work to timeframes
  • Excellent computer / IT skills.
