The ideal Candidate:
5 years of prior warehouse operations experience
2 years of Warehouse Mangement, or similar, experience (minimium)
Proficient in managing processes and team members effectively
Strong reporting and analytical skills
Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
Willingness to challenge and change operational methods
Ability to make decisions, solve problems, prioritize assignments, and direct a dynamic workforce in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Skilled in forming a cohesive team with a can-do attitude
Certified in HACCP principles
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the accuracy and quality of incoming goods, encompassing packaging and raw materials
Collaborate with various internal departments, external warehouses, and transportation companies
Oversee the planning, monitoring, and execution of storage, delivery, and dispatch of orders
Execute plans in alignment with the direction from the Planning Manager
Generate regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
Manage staff recruitment, training, performance, and daily briefings
Uphold high standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security in the workplace
Oversee staff training, particularly in the use of forklifts, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
Guarantee all necessary packaging and materials are available daily to meet scheduled requirements
Assemble orders to completion, addressing shortages or arising issues
Provide updated stock and transportation cost information to the management team
Ensure adherence to standards and SOPs throughout the department
Collaborate with Inventory/Quality Control to maintain top-notch inventory accuracy and quality
Investigate inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
Contribute to the formulation of strategic plans aimed at operational objectives
Foresee requirements, prepare budgets, analyze variances, and take corrective actions to meet financial objectives
Determine product handling and storage requisites, formulating warehouse operations systems
Design and implement effective warehouse layouts, accounting for product flow, equipment, and handling systems
Manage personnel issues including recruitment, training, and disciplinary measures
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards, taking responsibility for warehouse security and inventory
