Hybrid role with a dynamic company in the pharmaceutical industry- Excellent salary and benefits with this company! See below. THIS IS A CONTRACT ROLE FOR 9 MONTHS. The client is seeking a candidate that wants to be part of a team and that can add value to the company! You will report to the Global Fixed Assets Manager! In this role you will be responsible for regional support in this area within the Global Fixed Asset Team.

Salary & Benefits:
Hybrid role – 2 days on-site, 3 days WFH (depending on requirements)
Basic salary €45-50,000
5% bonus (company based)
Minimum 3 years experience in finance role
Pension contribution of up to 8% by the company

Responsibilities for Role:
Supporting the Global Fixed Asset Manager in all aspects of the function
Process requests related to capital investment projects (i.e. opening, closing, and adjusting)
Accounting for Capital investment (CIP/AUC) balances through interaction with team members and project managers
Reconcile and verify fixed asset ledger with asset owners
Executing various close activities through period-end closings within company deadlines
While remaining compliant to all SOX, GAAP policies and regulations
Process re-classes related to fixed assets in SAP (inclusive of capitalizable turnaround entries, and accruals)
Assist in coordinating the annual asset verification/quarterly tagging process and system updates.
Collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders including local market FP&A, Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, senior management, and internal/external auditors.
Ensuring the month-end account reconciliation process is completed in a timely and accurate fashion with adequate supporting documentation.
Supporting the Statutory reporting process through testing and insight into all asset related balances on the global balance sheet
Requirements for Role:
Part/newly-Qualified Accountant
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Previous Shared Service Centre with multinational publicly quoted company experience
Working knowledge of US GAAP
Proficient in SAP or similar ERP
Proficient in MS Office applications
Excellent communication skills
Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
